原詩(shī)的基本意思是人們渴望美好的事物（造物）經(jīng)久不衰，但顯然只是一廂情愿，因而需要其子嗣、繼承者繼承“它”的“意志”，使之繁榮昌盛。但作為人類(lèi)的“你”卻殘忍放棄這份美麗，不愿意繁衍，實(shí)在是世之不幸，你就與墳?zāi)挂黄饎儕Z了世界的“利益”。

原詩(shī)為抑揚(yáng)格五音步（輕重音可標(biāo)注為ˉ｀/ˉ｀/ˉ｀/ˉ｀/ˉ｀/），韻式為abab/cdcd/efef/gg，恰好可對(duì)應(yīng)詩(shī)歌的四個(gè)部分，即：感嘆美好事物易失去，需要傳承——惋惜“你”不愿意將“你”的美“灑”向世間——?jiǎng)裾]“你”繁衍子嗣以在世間留下你的“美好”——譴責(zé)“你”的不愿意繁衍是一種自私的行為，致使世界折損了美好。
